A place for breakfast and lunch in the quieter north of Bali, away from the density of Canggu. The brief was singular: a calm, coherent space people return to.

The project rests on one colour and one geometry. A muted olive runs through every layer – facade, walls, bar, tile. A single tone repeated across different textures cuts visual noise and makes 75 square metres feel larger than they are.

The facade is built from painted concrete blocks laid with offset. It is not decoration but a solar screen: it shades the upper volume, lets air move through, diffuses light into the interior. 

Inside, three materials do the work: glazed kit-kat tile, warm dark wood, polished concrete. Light is placed precisely – brass spheres above the tables, hidden strips beneath the bar. Nothing ambient, nothing extra.
