A tranquil private residence in the tropics of Ubud, Bali, merging Japandi minimalism with Wabi-Sabi philosophy. The design emphasizes raw beauty, balance, and natural imperfection. Crafted entirely from natural materials — textured marble, solid wood, raw linen, stone, and plaster — the space reflects tactile warmth and grounding calm. Highlights include a custom marble sink, built-in wooden furniture, ambient soft lighting, and a warm earth-tone palette. This retreat is a contemporary expression of quiet luxury, rooted in Eastern aesthetics and surrounded by tropical serenity.

This private villa, located in the lush central region of Bali, offers a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Joglo typology — reimagined through the lens of minimalism, material honesty, and climate-responsive design. Rather than replicating traditional forms, the project translates their core principles: openness, connection to nature, and fluid movement of air and light. The structure is built on a metal frame, enabling precision, construction speed, and long-term structural resilience in a tropical climate. This approach minimizes humidity issues and allows for full natural ventilation — making the house breathe with its surroundings rather than resisting them. Material selection is guided by both local availability and tactile quality: ironwood, grey marble, warm black veneer, concrete-textured plaster, stainless steel, and sheer linen curtains.

Project for a sportswear boutique in Bali. Using white and black contrast, we zoned the store for men's and women's clothing. The island composition of the stands was chosen for a more correct and multifaceted clothing exhibition, taking into account the small space.
